Where are your teens getting their information about sex? Who is forming their views on what is normal, and right, in intimate relationships? Who should teach children and youth about sex?
Do you know what is being taught in the sex education curriculum in your child’s school? Are you discussing with your child what he or she is learning in school and how this compares with God’s Word about boy-girl relationships?
Are you having conversations with your children about current issues in sexuality, and pointing them to the bible for God’s instructions and commandments on these issues? Children and teens alike are being bombarded on a daily basis with secular views on casual sex, homosexuality, gender, pornography, and the like. Go with them to God’s Word so that they will know the truth and how to respond to false teaching.
