How do you prepare a teen to think critically about homosexuality? To enter confidently and non-judgmentally into discussions on gay rights or the gay lifestyle?
It’s tempting to avoid talking about this issue. It’s too controversial, and most of us and our teens know and love someone who embraces this lifestyle or, at the other end of the spectrum, is struggling with unwanted same-sex attraction.
Give your teens the opportunity to discuss openly all aspects of homosexuality. And do it in such a way that all teens will feel comfortable with, and grateful for, the conversation.
