I can control my choices
How untrue because
We are not in control
Everyone says
That our generation will fail
That we will be the end and
They know there is no way
That is right
Because
Choices
We can make
Don’t affect us now
Cruel taunts
Shape us to be who we are
Encouragement and friendship
Are no longer present in our society
Wars and animosity
Occur every day
Good deeds
Will not exist
Poverty, starvation, or disease
Anything is possible
People will say
Our era will be horrible
There is no reason that
We should believe that we can change
